A little quickie

Sorry, no pics this time...Just a real quick up-date on life...we're super busy...okay, bye!

Not THAT quick, but we are super busy. Andy quit his job at BJC as Clinical Director, however his staff still want him to supervise him so he heads up there every Wednesday on his own time to fit that into his busy schedule. We currently have 5 employees working for us and are interviewing 2 more (possibly 3) over the weekend and next week. Andy has decided he wants to work for our company too...holy cow! It is over-whelming knowing we are providing livelyhood for people and now our own too! Crazy!

Dane is still doing gymnastics and we are members of the St. Louis Zoo AND we just got our Six Flags Season Passes, which we'll be frequenting almost daily in the mornings. It's nice to go to the water park before it's too hot and loaded with bigger kids. We eat a picnic pool-side and head home for naps.

We went fishing at my Dad's farm a couple weeks ago. It was Dane's 1st time fishing and we caught 2 stringers full of bass and bluegill and 1 channel cat. He was so excited and grandpa bought him his own rod and reel and matching tackel box. He's been talking about it since then. Drake wasn't even close to being interested; good thing I brought his dumptruck. Now that, he enjoyed.

Happy Spring. *smile*

A quote I saw that brought me back to some sweet memories of times spent with some very dear friends.

Terrible Toot

Monday morning Dane came to me and said in a frantic mode "Mommy, I have a terrible toot!" He repeated this several times and I tried to understand what he was talking about. I quickly noticed he was pulling at his pants and walking with his hips forward. I then said, "Turn around and let me see what you're pulling at." He turned and he had a wet spot on his pajama bottoms. I am kneeling at his side by this time and asked, "Did you poop your pants?" To which he replied, "No, I had a TOOT POOP, it was a terrible toot!"

I will reiterate....it WAS a "Terrible Toot!"

Lots of laughs (on the inside, he was really bothered by this) I still smile 3 days later when writing this.

Meanwhile back at the table while Dane is having trouble keeping things, in Drake is having trouble cramming things in....

Finally on the Train

We took a family trip via the Train. It was only a 1 hour trip to Hermann, MO and we stayed in a Bed & Breakfast. Dane was extremely excited until we were on the train for 1/2 hour and he said "I'm ready to get off of here, I'm tired of sitting." That's life as a 3 year old.
It was nice and relaxing. Our cell phones didn't get reception: NO work! I did receive 12 messages, 9 of which were work-related! We also didn't have a car, so everywhere we went we walked. It rained the 1st day and Dane and Drake got to use their new Spider Man and Sponge Bob umbrellas. The days got slightly warmer and sunnier the 2nd and 3rd day. I don't have any pictures of us loading, riding or unloading from the train because it was too hurried during those times. However I was able to catch some pictures of all my boys on our walks and playing. The day we left we were wearing T-shirts and carrying our coats! Better luck on our next forecast. *smile*

It really is easier to walk out the door and walk to a restaurant or park: no buckling into car-seats, warming the car, finding a place to park, etc. I might have some objections from Daddy "D", but I'd like to do another trip without cell phones and a car.
