The Christmas run-down

We've been busy, along with the rest of our friends and family. We're just now coming down from the blur of 4 birthdays leading to Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas. In the middle of that we finished our basement and I applied and reviewed different graduate schools. In saying that, I've got all of our decorations down, except our tree. It's been ornament-free for a week, but it's still standing proud. Maybe this weekend I'll get to it. Naaa *smirk*

We moved our business office out of our study and into our basement which is finshed except for doors and trim-work. So that's the excuse I'm using for not posting pics since before Christmas. And since I start a 2nd master's degree program in March things may slow down til I get in the groove of that life again too. Graduate school was easy when I was 21 and husband, kid and business free...oh, and lots of beer too.

And on to what you're all waiting for...

Our annual dinner with Santa and Zoo-Lights:

My boys can't be growing that fast! That must be a dwarf santa!

Christmas Eve:
1st thing Christmas Eve morning Dane says, "Mom, do we get to open a gift now? You said we could on Christmas Eve!" I explained we would after church and before bed and blah, blah, blah. To which he replies, "But if we open them at night we can't play with them all day." He made a good point...here they are opening gifts on Christmas Eve morning :)
Say "cheese!"

Aaaand....Go.....

And here they are setting a piece of Jesus' birthday cake out for Santa.

Christmas day:
Our pictures are numerous, though they are mostly of the back of little heads or a proud little boy holding up a gift received and smiling really big...with the gift in front of their face! So here's a good one with their puppy shoes. Sorry 'bout needing to do the sideways head tilt.

And even T-Bone scored some snacks from Santa!
