Zoo fun with friends

We've had a very busy week. We started by going to Six Flags on Monday and Tuesday. We have season passes and Dane is loving his little Looney Toon Land. He's just the right age and when he slows down enough to ride the carousel or train then Drake can ride with him. Friday we planted grass seed all along our driveway after the excavators left. As Dane puts it "I made a mess mommy"...and a mess he DID make with the grass seed. We'll probably have one very thick and tall spot in our lawn. And I will forever remember the day Dane "helped" me plant seed.

Then Friday evening our friends from Jeff City called us and said they were coming into town with their two boys (Dallas and Dillan) and invited us to join them at the zoo. That's a no-brainer...of course we went. They also brought their cousin, Conner. We were able to get one picture where all 5 of them looked at the camera; and if I might add with only two shots taken too!


And then here we are on the carousel.
